LAY APOSTOLATE SUPERVISOR – St. Joseph’s Church Modesto – Full-Time, Non-Exempt, competitive salary and excellent benefits
St. Joseph’s Church in Modesto has an opening for a full-time Lay Apostolate Supervisor.
This position serves as the entry point for new stewards in the parish, as well as support for existing stewards. It manages the new parishioner welcome process and helps to lead the management and development of the parish ministries, in addition to the Safe Environment Program. It supports the Development, Communication and Stewardship efforts of the parish and serves on the Gala and Festival Committees and assists with other events as requested. It staffs, trains, and manages the lay apostolates and non-liturgical ministries of the parish. When funded, it supervises a part time office assistant.
Applicants are required to be literate in both verbal and written English and Spanish, have some experience with volunteering and have an understanding of or willing to learn and implement the spirituality of stewardship. The position is 40 hours per week, and will be a staff member of an award-winning stewardship parish.
